The Hunter and the Hunted

Sidelong are delighted to be working on a new project for this summer, The Hunter and the Hunted.

The project has been commissioned by curators Ordinary Culture and is part of their bigger project  View From The East, celebrating and responding to the history and place of Colwick Woods, Sneinton, Nottingham. Our project is inspired by the woodlands, once the deer hunting grounds for nobles of the manor. We will be developing a creative walk in the woods inspired by the woodland's tales, the atmosphere of the forest and the creatures that live there.

We want to develop the walk with help from local families, so dates for your diary:
Sidelong's family friendly workshops will take place on
Saturdays 1-3pm 9th May, 16th May and 6th June,
with walks on the gala day on Sunday 5th July open to all!

Keep following for more details as we progress the project.
